How Does Kybella® Work?
Kybella® is one of the only FDA-approved nonsurgical treatments to correct submental fullness or the dreaded double chin. The body naturally produces deoxycholic acid to break down dietary fat as a daily function. Your Kybella® treatment is as simple as a series of injections in the submental area. No incisions, no bandages, and virtually no downtime. The treatment is performed in the Colorado Skin & Vein offices and takes less than 30 minutes. You may experience mild swelling and tenderness, but these resolve within a week or two.
Most people require between 2 and 4 Kybella® treatments to reach their aesthetic goals, but results are visible 4-6 weeks following the very first treatment.
