How Does SmartLipo TM Work?

What Is the Procedure Like?
Your SmartLipo™ treatment is performed in the comfort of the Colorado Skin & Vein offices in our advanced procedure room. You’ll receive a local anesthetic and mild sedatives, so you feel no pain, and the procedure is performed while you are awake but pleasantly relaxed. The laser is introduced to the treatment area through a tiny incision to liquefy your unwanted fat, which is then suctioned away with a 2mm cannula rather than the traditional 6mm size. Dr. Verebelyi sculpts your physique and tightens your skin for maximum results. You may experience an ache in the treatment area, much like the aftermath of a strenuous workout, and some bruising is possible. You’ll be able to return to your normal schedule within a day or two.
When Will I See Results?
The best news is once the fat is gone, it’s really gone. A healthy diet and exercise regimen will keep remaining fat from swelling, but no new fat cells will form.
