Laser Hair Removal

More Laser Hair Removal Options for Better Results:

Larger areas, medium to dark hair, or patients who are very anxious about discomfort:

LightSheer Duet: This device uses gentle suction to pull the hair follicle close to the laser and is covered in reflective gold surface that recycles any photons that bounce off the skin. These two features allow the machine to be effective at energy levels 1/3 of traditional lasers while still being extremely effective.

Facial hair, and light or fine hair anywhere on the body:

Cynosure Elite: After doing several thousand laser hair removal procedures, reviewing the literature, and personally testing several machines, we now offer the most advanced hair removal platform ever developed. The Cynosure Elite uses two different wavelengths allowing us to treat everything from fine blonde hair to thick, dark hair. The laser blows cool air over the treatment area ensuring the most comfortable procedure possible. The Cynosure Elite is also ideal for facial hair removal.

Darker skin types:

1064nm Nd:YAG: This laser is specially designed to be more gentle on darker skin. It can treat unwanted hair anywhere on the body regardless of skin type.

We are so confident in our ability to permanently remove your hair that any treatment that is necessary after the 6th treatment is half price, and we always guarantee the lowest price.

NEW Laser Hair Removal Pricing:

How does hair removal work?

Human skin has between 500-1000 hair follicles per square inch. Hair removal involves the thermal destruction of these hair follicles. The machine puts energy into the skin which is absorbed by the melanin in the hair follicles. This heats the follicle and over time will damage it to the point where it can no longer produce a hair.

What can it be used for?

  • 90% permanent hair reduction
  • Ingrown Hairs (Pseudofolliculitis Barbae)
  • Inflammed glands in the underarm (Hidradenitis Suppertiva)

What type of light and lasers are used?

Adjustable Pulsed Light (Prowave) for light and medium skin types and 1064nm Nd:YAG for very dark skin types.

How many treatments do I need?

Most patients require between 5-8 treatments to achieve the desired hair reduction. Denser hair may require more treatments.

Is it really permanent?

Yes, but we cannot stop white, immature hair from developing into darker, mature hair over time. Because of this, some patients may want to return for 1-2 touch-up sessions every few years.

What happens during the procedure?

The area to be treated is cleaned and shaved if necessary. A thin coat of cool ultrasound gel is applied to the area. The handpiece is placed on the skin and pulsed once in each area to be treated. In 4-8 weeks the procedure is repeated.

What else should I know?

Very blonde or white hairs do not have much pigment and may be very difficult to treat. Vellus hair (peach fuzz) can convert to mature, pigmented hair over long periods of time. This means that over the course of several years patients may want to come in for a touch-up from time to time.

How much does it cost?

Price depends on the area to be treated. For example:

  • Legs $400-$600
  • Bikini area $200-$400

We will also match any verified competing physician’s pricing!

What if I have a tan?

If you have a tan from sun exposure or sunless tanning products, you must wait until the tan fades completely before undergoing laser hair removal. A tan increases your risk of side effects such as blistering and discoloration.

We are always happy to meet with you to review your needs. Please call 303.683.3235 to schedule an appointment or use the Free Consultation Form and someone will call you as soon as possible.
